Welcome to 2022
Hi everyone! My first update since 2021 but I just wanted to show I’m still here and busy with teaching voice, piano, and harmonica, and repair/customizing harmonicas. 2021 and 2022 were both filled with studio calls at Morningstar Studios (PA) and the Gradwell House (NJ), which I’m so grateful for. Several of the recordings have been released and a few will be in the near future. I’ll begin to update my website to include a media page so you can hear and see some samples. I’ve also performed a few live concerts this Summer, which was so great. I represented Hohner and Make Music Philly for, “Make Music Day.” It was so much fun!
I’ve just accepted a few more students and have room for a few more. Besides teaching independently, I’ve recently become affiliated with the music school in NY, “The Cortlandt School of the Performing Arts.” It’s been so rewarding helping my students prepare for auditions for their schools, helping them progress on their instruments, and also helping complete beginners have a great start on piano and harmonica. For example with my beginning harmonica students, the amazing fast progress from playing our first train rhythm, playing songs in chords, then just a lesson or two later beginning to play the songs in cleansingle notes. So amazing! Another example is one of my long time voice students landed the lead role in their middle school’s production of Willy Wonka Jr. I might be biased, but he sounded amazing!!
The harmonica and shruti box repairs have increased a good deal this year. I’ll start adding more photos in the repair/custom page of this website.
Alright, I gotta get some sleep. I’ll be back, soon!
